Yesterday I Attended ITCN ASIA 2009. it was a great experience to meet the experienced people from tech field. the topic for the conference was “eMarketting”. now read the whole summary of conference that i reached expo center at 9:40 AM then i got register and got a conference kit including a folder and a deligate card.than i entered in conference hall. some officials from UNICOM Ltd. was setting up cameras and lighting because they were going to stream this whole conference on their website. I took a seat and sit on it. after few minutes miss jehan ara came and she started chatting with her known freinds . the most of the audiance was very young people either they are professionals or students.

Then gradually the numbers of audiance increased and speaker announce the starting of conference by resitation of Holy Quran.then he played a recorded movie of suzzane from USA .Shegive briefing about Leverage of business with eMarketting. she give short briefing about twitter,facebook,youtube and paki.com and focused on social networking sites.  then speaker invite Dr. Irfan Director of Yahoo for address.He came on stage and tells the actual figure of pakistani internet users who use yahoo. here you can note this i dint open yahoo.com since last two month so may be he excluded me.

then Mr Sohail aziz, Ms Jehan Ara give thier speeches and the conference continues with interesting interaction of audiance i was really enjoying that moments .after some speaker i saw a young boy full of energy and has great speaking power. he was Badar Khushnood from Google. oh my God. he was owsum. just owsum. he tells about how internet overcoming upon TV and traditional media and i think its true but for only well developed city like karachi and islamabad. its not true about hyderabad or multan etc.

then conference continues i met yahoo’s director for middle east region Dr. Irfan he gave me his visiting card then i m met different people from different organization.

at 2 pm  we took lunch and fortunately ms jehan ara came on our table. i learn many good things from here. thats why i am starts writting this blog.

any ways i wish i could attend next IT event in pakistan…
